With over a decade of experience in social services and non-profit organizations, Vassie is dedicated to making a positive impact in the community. As the Executive Director of Seeds of Hope Neighborhood Center, Vassie leads with a passion for helping others and a commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.

Throughout her career, Vassie has been instrumental in developing and implementing programs that address the needs of underserved populations. She brings a wealth of practical knowledge and hands-on experience to the role, ensuring that Seeds of Hope continues to thrive and expand its reach. Vassie's own lived experience and personal challenges have fueled her passion and drive for this work, giving her a deep understanding of the obstacles faced by those she serves.

Before joining the social services world, Vassie owned and operated Union House Pub & Pizza in Biddeford for seven years, becoming a well-known figure in the community. She has been honored with several prestigious awards, including the Key to the City of Biddeford, the Commander's Award from the United States Marine Corps Reserve, and being named one of 20 Outstanding Women in Maine in 2024.
